Stewardship: Work (Genesis 1:26 – 2:3)

As a result of the Fall, we experience the toil and thorns that come alongside work. However, when we examine the story of creation we find that work predates the Fall and that work is God ordained and good! In the opening to our series on Stewardship, Pastor Derrick lays the foundation that God made humanity stewards over all of his creation and focuses in on what it means to be be a good steward of work. He challenges us to recognize the privilege we have been given to share in the cultivation of and care for God’s creation and to carry out this privilege in a manner that puts God on maximum display.
