Preparation for Solemn Assembly (Amos 5)

God is enough. We need to be dethroned from God’s throne. We need to get out of His way. We are not unlike those to whom Amos was writing. We will on God’s behalf speak using words and modeling character that never came from God. These traits need to be brought to our attention. We were designed to put God on display and yet we often embarrass Him. We need to repent of this and God’s name needs to be properly represented.
