Our Process of Responding to Problems (Judges 6:1-24)

by

When facing daunting challenges and problems, too often our initial reaction is to jump immediately into solution mode. This approach can lead us to deploy solutions that do not effectively address our problems because the roots of the problems are unknown. Pastor Derrick shows us through the story of the Lord calling Gideon that our first question when encountering a problem should not be an experiential one, but a theological one. Our initial question should be “What is God trying to show me in this situation”, not “How do I fix this situation”.
