The Missionary’s Astute Message (1 Corinthians 9:19-27)

All Christians are called to the high task of serving as missionaries. Such a calling requires surrendered study of the community to which God has called us. Intellectual laziness has the capacity to undermine our responsibility to fully know and embody the cultures that comprise our respective mission fields. Pastor Brandon reminds us of the Apostle Paul’s challenge to “be a servant to all.” We should not merely know of these cultures, we should embody them. In so doing we “become all things, to all people, that by all means [we] might save some.”
