Our Father in Heaven (Matthew 6:9-13)

Pastor Brandon was invited, by his good friend Pastor Jared Mackey, to speak at The Next Level Church (www.tnl.org).  He addressed a few points from the model prayer of Matthew 6:9-13.  Of all the requests that the followers of Jesus made, the most direct was, “Lord, teach us to pray.”  They wanted to pray the way Jesus did: with the same intimacy to God as Father and the same authority to God as King. From this request, Jesus responds with the most known prayer in human history, “Our Father in Heaven.”  This Summer, The Embassy Church joined TNL Church and 10 other congregations in teaching through this prayer. As ‘The Church in Denver’ we made the the same request of Jesus: “Teach Us to Pray.”
