It’s Time To Grow Up: The Spiritual Man/Woman vs. The Natural Man/Woman (1st Corinthians 2:14-3:9)

Last week Pastor Brandon reminded us that while divine wisdom is deemed foolish by humanity, it is in fact the greatest display of wisdom from the greatest conceivable mind. In fact, the apparent foolishness of divine actions is due to the limitations and fallenness of humanity. We deem it folly because it makes no sense to us, but it makes no sense to us because we, unlike God, have a very limited view if reality. Because of this, the natural man is unable to comprehend things that are from above. Only by surrendering ourselves to the leading of the Spirit will we appreciate divine things.
