Knowing the manner in which ideas came about informs us of their worth. Accordingly, the book of Genesis provides insight into issues like creation, human value, covenants, government, languages, and introduces us to the significance of Jesus’s sacrificial death. Join us at The Embassy Church as we answer the question “How did we get here?” as we walk through the first book of the Bible.
Note: In this message I misspoke regarding the details of creation on day six. Human beings were not the sole beings created on the sixth day. This in no way undermines the broader point of the message, namely, the preeminence of human beings as image bearers. However, intellectual integrity requires recognition of my hermeneutical error. – Pastor Brandon Washington
