Advent, Week 2 (Isaiah 9:1-7)

Jesus is King. Even when we do our best to sit on His thrown we become foolish and incompetent masters over our lives. Yet, He’s gracious enough to remind us that this is the year of our Lord. He holds back the vengeance for us to relish the opportunity to have Him as King. But we are so use to that, we take it for granted. That is our debt to Him. We need to be messengers of a whole gospel. Not just that Jesus died so I can go to heaven.
