We can bring our heartache and discontent to God. And when people will take issue with what we say on God’s behalf, God says rejoice now, it’ll get really good later. Our eyes need to get fixed not on what we have but on the King who is worthy of our bent knees. The gospel needs to be our constant weapon against fallenness and sin… We need to be so in love with Jesus that we despise those things with a perfect hatred.
