Giving Not Getting (Mark 10:32-45)

We live in a society that feeds us the idea we should view things from the perspective of “how does this benefit me?”. This perspective places us in conflict with the teachings of Jesus to his followers in Mark 10, who also were fixated on how their relationship with Jesus was of benefit to them. Pastor Derrick challenges us to reject that perspective and embody the model of Jesus who came not be served, but to serve and to give his life away.
