DESCRIPTION:Divine Health and Well-being of the Country During the Inauguration and Regime Change \nPsalm 72 \nThe manner in which the Church divided during the election is an indictment of our capacity to think well. Instead of recognizing the intrinsic complications and nuance of deciding between two candidates of dubious integrity\, we became binary and exaggerated our chosen candidate’s qualifications. More to the point\, those on the opposing side were negatively critiqued at the expense of recognizing the intrinsic value of image bearers. Today\, as a corporate body\, we are praying that the Church in America takes the lead in unifying the country. We are also praying that\, upon his inauguration\, the President Elect will honor the presumptions of a national leader as they are recorded in Psalm 72. \n\n
