Monday: Unity of the Universal Church in both Word and Mission
(1st Corinthians 1:10-17)
In penning this letter to the Corinthians Paul’s agenda was to remind them of their joyful and familial calling to be a united body. When Christ is King, it is wholly inappropriate to divide along the lines of the leaders who represent him. While the message of the Church is cultural contextualized, it is, nonetheless, a single message.
Today, as a corporate body, we are praying that the Church all over the world will be united according the revealed word of God and the corresponding mission of God.
